Adding a dash of essential oil to a smoothie is really a game changer to me, and if your taste buds are anything like mine, I do recommend you try this recipe. I really enjoy this recipe when I can find berries and the best part: You can try different variations with different berries or fruit too. Okay, I am going to be downright honest. I have never really been a huge fan of smoothies. Never really got the point, especially since smoothies are only tasty when one adds a whole lot of sugar or honey and fruits. Somehow the flavours still come out quite bland. I am also not a fan of plain sweet tasting liquid drinks, even milkshakes in general. I also find that sugars also don't help when it comes to keeping my weight down. I would generally just eat plain Greek or Full Fat Yoghurt (the choice depends on whether Greek Yoghurt is available or not in our shops). But adding a dash of essential oil to smoothies is certainly a game changer when it comes to smoothies and I must admit, I really enjoy a smoothie as a treat now days. ESSENTIAL OIL SAFETY - PLEASE READ BEFORE TRYING THE RECIPE: Always follow the manufacturers instructions on Essential Oil labels. Blueberry Smoothie RecipeINSTRUCTIONSPlace all ingredients in blender, and blend until smoothie reaches desired consistency (about 2 minutes). Pour in to a glass and enjoy.
